Campus Collective Marketplace (South Africa)
By registering as a seller on Campus Collective, you enter into a legally binding agreement. You acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms in accordance with the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA).
To ensure student safety, Campus Collective operates an Escrow System:
To maintain a high-quality marketplace, the following inactivity rules apply:
Accounts with no login or activity for 60 days will be temporarily locked. A Reconnection Fee of R50.00 will be charged to reactivate the account.
Accounts with no activity for 90 days will be permanently deleted from our database. Any new account creation by the same user will require a Setup Fee of R100.00.
Sellers must keep stock levels accurate. If a seller fails to fulfill 3 orders in a row, the account will be flagged for review. In the event of damaged items, Escrow funds are returned to the student, and the seller is responsible for the return shipping/collection.
Campus Collective has a Zero Tolerance Policy. Accounts will be immediately deactivated without notice for:
• Selling stolen property or counterfeit goods.
• Harassment of students or campus staff.
• Attempting to bypass the Escrow system (asking for direct EFTs).
• Multiple negative reviews or delivery failures.
Campus Collective reserves the right to request a copy of the seller's Student ID at any time to verify identity and maintain the security of the campus marketplace.
Registration is free. However, a platform commission (10%) and transaction fees (3.5% + R2.00) are deducted from each successful sale before the final payout is released to the seller's bank account.
